United Way for Clinton County was awarded an additional COVID-19 Grant through the Lily Endowment and Indiana United Way to support three impact areas in Clinton County.

This grant is set up in three tiers and to make a bigger impact with larger amounts of money awarded for Early Childhood Education, Mental Health and Homelessness.

The first tier of funds has already been distributed. United Way invited Early Childhood Education programs to the table to apply for the grant funds. Three grants were awarded to The Community Schools of Frankfort ($43,808.47), Clinton Prairie Pre-K ($5,463.53) and Bauer Family Resources ($10,000). Community Schools of Frankfort will be able to sustain their current 3rd Pre-K classroom at Suncrest, Clinton Prairie will purchase room furniture, curriculum, STEM toys, and a shed.
