Hospitality House will be staffed full time and provide both men and women a very short-term place to stay while receiving wrap around services and resources to get them stable and on their own. Persons needing a place to stay will apply through Center Township and then spend their first night at the house. The next day they would be taken to Healthy Communities or Bauer Family Resources where their specific needs are identified and goals set. If goals are completed each day, they can stay up to five days. Goals will include such things as job search, housing obtained, etc. This will be a “hand up program” for those ready and willing to use the resources available in our community to be financially stable in supporting themselves.

Hospitality House will be located at the current United Way office building at 1100 W Walnut. United Way office staff will be moving to the Healthy Communities building at 1234 Rossville Avenue.
